Julia Dallas is the founder and principal consultant of Seattle HR Consultants. She began her HR career in 1999 at a Bay Area technology startup and has spent more than 25 years building HR functions from the ground up and strengthening established ones. She holds the SPHR and SHRM-SCP certifications and is a certified coach.
Julia has been the first HR leader at multiple organizations, from venture-backed startups to an AI research institute. She has led HR for organizations of more than 1,500 employees, with teams across AMER, LATAM, EMEA and APAC. That experience shapes how she consults: she knows what it takes to run HR day to day, not just how to advise on it.
Through Seattle HR Consultants, she steps in as interim head of HR during leadership transitions and leads fractional and project work for growing companies and mission-driven organizations. When clients need more capacity, she brings in vetted recruiters, payroll and benefits specialists, and HR operations specialists who work under her direction.
Her experience spans technology and AI, crypto and fintech, financial services, consumer products and retail, education, senior care, real estate and housing, research, healthcare, logistics and manufacturing, and nonprofits.
